Welcome! Glad you are here.

“In the silence of the heart, God will speak.” ~ Mother Teresa

I am a trained Spiritual Director♱ who delights in holding space to listen, guide, and bear witness to individuals as they desire to see God in all aspects of their lives and discern where the Trinity is inviting attention. Spiritual direction is all about encountering God and finding home on the edges; following the divine whisper into the bigger, communal, and cosmic enterprise that is God. Recognizing thresholds, exploring when and how to mark an ending and beginning, or longing for the deep well is nothing short of a divine invitation to listen wholly. My cultural roots are from a British colony, but my education, vocation, family and life were nurtured in Canada. Companioning others to restore their true identity and souls' sanctity is my life’s work.

“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised, fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed - to be seen, heard and acknowledged exactly as it is.” ~ Parker Palmer

I've been on a Christian spiritual formation journey for over 33 years, homed in the Baptist, Alliance, and Anglican traditions. My certificate in holy listening (spiritual direction) with Anam Cara Ministries; completion of the St. Ignatius of Loyola's Spiritual Exercises with New College Berkeley Graduate Theological Union; and Death, Dying, and Grief Certificate with Tyndale Seminary have all equipped me to accompany others in complex places. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a master's degree in theological studies. My spirituality and Christ-formed mysticism deeply intertwine with Hans Urs von Balthasar's theological reasoning on contemplative prayer.

Between God and the soul, there is no between.” ~ Julia of Norwich

The intersection of the Christian faith, anthropology, ethnography, identity, belonging, and grief touches everyone. A person’s unique placedness, socio-cultural heritage and lived experiences all telegram her/his spiritual biography. My prayer is that you find solace in the companionship of Christ, who can unveil things from concealment and breathe meaning into your story. Come rest, be accompanied and illuminated by God in our spiritual direction journey.
